Kindness Ambassadors in our community

On March 27th, Eastern Shore Dental Society and the Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy donated Personal Protective Equipment to Peninsula Regional Medical Center to assist with the COVID-19 crisis and to support staff and patients.

On the cart are 10,000 masks, 20,000 gloves and 500 gowns. The items are what the Mission of Mercy either had left over from last year’s event (still safe and usable/not expired) or items they had already purchased for the 2021 event coming up one year from now in Salisbury at the Civic Center. What an amazing gift! Thank you Eastern Shore Dental Society and Mission of Mercy for being kindness ambassadors in our community.

March Blessing Madness

One of Salisbury’s community groups, Be a Blessing, is spreading kindness all over Salisbury…in schools, to residents at Genesis nursing home, making cards for cancer patients, dropping off goodies to the fire department, the police department, gifts for custodians, gifts for cafeteria staff, teacher gift bags, and blessing bags for the homeless.

This week their Blessing outreach is….Cafeteria staff, school nurses..and custodial staff 🙂  Let’s join in their challenge and help find ONE way to bless others this week. Be a blessing group said it best: “Let’s spread some much needed love to a world that so desperately needs it!”

“Clippers choose love” earn their GOLDEN TICKET

What a great way to start the day by presenting Principal Christel Savage and Clipper students at James M Bennett High their golden ticket #kindSBY cling. They earned it for their “Clippers Choose Love” work and Maria Cook’s art class Valentines for Wicomico Nursing Home. Kudos to all these KINDNESS INFLUENCERS!! ⚓️❤️💛💙❤️🌻 Wicomico County Public Schools

Special delivery

The Wicomico Child Advocacy Center received a special delivery on March 3rd, 2020! Charley, of The Metropolitan Magazine, heard about their need of snacks for children and decided to drop by with a load of snacks to help make a difference! The snacks will bless children who come and meet with the social workers, therapists and the family advocate. Hugs to Charley and others in the community for helping our program and children in Wicomico County.

Destination Imagination support

Salisbury Middle’s Kindness Club came out in support of our member Bella Hooper (pictured with the arrow) as she competed in the regional Destination Imagination competition hosted at SMS on Saturday. Members, Callie Blades, Ari Vargas, and Maryam Khamees, then went around and offered treats to participants and staff. Spreading kindness in the form of sugary goodness 🥰
